Willis L. Murphy Jr.

Willis L Murphy Jr.,59, went home to be with the Lord on September 24, 2017 in Linwood CA. He was born in Madisonville, KY to Anna DeLoris Nichols Murphy and Willis L. Murphy, Sr. on October 21, 1957. He attended Mortons Gap Elementary School and graduated from South Hopkins High School. While in the US Army, he received numerous military awards and decorations. Willis obtained an Associate Degree and a Bachelor Degree. He worked as a Coal Miner, Administrative Assistant and was a Network Administrator for several companies in California. He was also a very talented artist. In addition to his parents, Willis was preceded in death by; sister: Deloris Ann Murphy; and his daughter: Candice Murphy. Willis L Murphy Jr is survived by ex-wife: Pamela McDonald Murphy; his 3 children: Cedrick Murphy, Corey Murphy, Kristen Murphy; six grandchildren; three brothers: Carlos Murphy(Leah), Brian Murphy(Venita)and William Murphy; 2 uncles: Obie Nichols, John D.
