Willie J. Avent, 70, of Mayfield, formerly of Fulton County, passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at Stonecreek Health Rehabilitation in Paducah, Kentucky.
He was formerly employed by K-T Clay Company for 19 years and retired from Franklin Poultry Equipment, formerly Midstate Poultry after 30 years.
He is survived by his mother Mary L. Avent, South Fulton, TN; one daughter, Jettie Avent; two sons, Willie (Melanie) Avent, and Willard (Shawn) Jones, all of Mayfield, KY two sisters, Dorothy (Charles) Randolph, Milwaukee, WI and Dwan (Jeffery Vinson) Avent, Martin, TN; five brothers, Percy (Jeanette) Avent, and John Avent, both
of South Fulton, TN; Robert Avent, and Bobby Avent both of Chandler, AZ; Joey (Frauke) Avent, Lexington, SC.; four grandchildren, Quintint Jones and Myles Avent, both of Mayfield, Javonte Jones, Nashville, TN and Emmy Jones, Murray, KY.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Avent, father, John Avent, Sr., a son, Calvin Dion Jones, granddaughter, Maia Bussell, sisters, Kathryn Avent, Jwan Avent, Thelma Avent,
There will be no services. Mason Memorial Chapel is in charge.
