William Henderson Young Jr.

Evansville - William Henderson Young, Jr., 71, of Evansville, passed away Thursday, November 21, 2019. He was born in Ohio County, KY on August 27, 1948, to the late William, Sr. and Clara L. Baltzell-Young.

William, known as "Billy Bamm", grew up in Evansville where he joined the New Hope Baptist Church. He graduated from Bosse High School in 1966 and attended Oakland City University on a basketball scholarship. He retired as the Security Guard at the University of Southern Indiana.

Billy is preceded in death by his parents and grandson Jeremiah Young. He leaves cherished memories to his children, William "Doobie" H., lll, April Goebel (Joey) and Quan Donya' (LaTona); 11 Grandchildren; 9 great grands; siblings: Wanda Henry, Lonza L. Young, Larry R. Young Pamela Buford, Clarissia Telepak, Keith A Young and ZsaGwen A. Young.
