Wayne Johnson

Wayne Johnson, 63, son of the late Elder Clark Johnson and Betty Robinson Johnson completed his earthly assignment on Sunday, January 4, 2015 at his home.

He graduated from Valley Park High School in Missouri. He was married to the late Pamela (Irvin) Johnson. Brother, Gregory D. preceded him in death as well as his best friend, Archie Briggs.

Wayne was a member of St. James M.B. Church, Evansville IN. He loved family and friends and serving others which led to his occupation of being a waiter and chauffer.

Wayne is survived by sons: Terry (Veronica) Collier and Clark D. Johnson; sisters: B. Denise Johnson, Angela (Larry) Hay, and Pamela (Clarence) Orton; 6 grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

Home-going Celebration Services will be Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 11:00 am at St. James M.B. Church 1808 N. 4th Avenue, Evansville IN 47710 with Rev. Connie Baltzell officiating. Visitation is Friday from 5-7pm at Mason Brothers Memorial Chapel. Burial at Oak Hill Cemetery.
