Vinnie Woodridge Moss

Vinnie Woodridge Moss affectionately known as “Mother Vinnie” was born  

on April 10, 1928, in Oak Grove, Kentucky to Martha Dickerson Tyler.    Vinnie departed this life on March 20, 2024.  

She was well loved by her family and friends, never met a stranger and always had a kind word for everyone she met.  Once she met you, you immediately became one of her babies and she never forgot you.   She was a loving mother and grandmother.   Mother Vinnie was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church where she served as an usher and worked with the kitchen ministry.  She was employed at The First Baptist Church as a custodian. 

She was preceded in death by her husband William Kayo Moss, mother Martha Tyler, Grandmother Vinnie Flack, and cousins, Anna Greer, and Mary Louise Thomas.  

She leaves to cherish her memory, daughters, Jeanette Whitlock and Carolyn Weathers (Tyrone), sons James Hickerson (Vicky), and Albert Jackson, Jr. (Babby), cousin, Thurman Johnson and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and second third and fourth generation of grandchildren, and all her babies.
