Travis Wayne Minor was born to the late Esterlean Minor Hollie in Madisonville, KY on March 20, 1960. He went home to be with the Lord, June 28, 2021, at the age of 61. Travis was a member of Mt Zion Missionary Baptist Church where he was a faithful member until his health failed. He was a hard worker until he became disabled. His employment included working at the City of Madisonville Sanitation Department, Phillips Tree Service, and Metcalf Lawn Service.
Travis was a beloved brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He enjoyed fishing and Country Mucsi, especially Blake Shelton and many more artist. Most of all, Travis loved his family and spending time with them. He was a kind-hearted person who never met a stranger. He would give you the shirt off of his back. Travis’ famous words were, “Kick rocks!” and “Sleep with your people.” He didn’t mind telling you how he felt about anything.
In addition to his mother, Travis was preceded in death by his grandparents: Clark and Willie B. Minor and his sister: Tracey Civils Davis.
He leaves to cherish his memory, a son: Logan Bostick of Madisonville; 3 sisters: Terrie Bostick, Tammy Minor of Madisonville, Tanya Hollie of Morton’s Gap; 3 brothers: Jonny Minor (Erica) of Madisonville, Terrence Minor (Charlene) of Earlington, and Titus Hollie (Melecia) of South Carolins; 2 aunts: Georgia Johnson, Lendola Minor; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends.
