Tori Allen “TP” Price Sr. was called home to Glory while surrounded by family and friends at Linda White Hospice in Evansville, Indiana on January 18, 2022, at the age of 44. Tori was born July 5, 1977, to Larry Allen Price and Linda Kaye Boyd in Evansville, Indiana. He was baptized at an early age at Nazarene Baptist Church under Rev. John Caldwell, and by the letter of Christian Experience transferred his fellowship to Nazarene Baptist Church under Rev. Larry Rascoe, Sr.
Tori attended William Henry Harrison High School where he won many talent shows and was selected from the student body to escort Keisha Knight Pulliam, also known as “Rudy” from “The Cosby Show”. He continued his education at Ivy Tech Community College in Evansville, Indiana to study his passion for Culinary Arts.
Tori was a unique child from birth. He spread joy and laughter in any room he entered. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, cooking, basketball, and dancing. He made sure everyone around him was happy with his jokes and warm comfort. To know him was truly to love him.
Tori was employed at Turf Plus for 10 years, where he landscaped by the Ohio River, Deaconess Hospital, and other major businesses in Evansville Indiana.
He is preceded in death by his father: Larry Allen Price; sister: LaShell Nicole Price; brother: Anthony Jerome Carter; Uncle: Henry Jones; grandparents: Mr. & Mrs. James Price, Ruby Miles Lester, and James Ferguson.
Tori will be greatly missed by his daughters: Toriona Price, SaTori Price, Tiona Sullivan-Price, Avery Price, Amari Price, all of Evansville, Indiana, Chy’Avia Cooksey, Columbus, Georgia; sons: Tori Price Jr., Mario Carter, Montori Carter, and T’Kai Stone all of Evansville, Indiana; mother: Linda Boyd; step-mother: Stella Price; step-father: David Boyd; sisters: Stephanie Whitehead, Carolyn Redmond, St. Louis, MO, and LaTosha Allensworth, Evansville, Indiana; brothers: Ricky Watkins, Torrance (Shawnette) Stewart; aunties: Inez Jones, Lorain, Ohio, Scherilla Price, Chan Miles, Anna Gray, Mary Helen Wright, and Donita Jones, all of Evansville, Indiana; uncles: Orlando Jones, Lorain, OH, Gary Price, Steven Miles, and James Tag Kemp, all of Evansville, Indiana; special friend: Turkesa Sullivan; 3 grandsons, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
