On December 1, 1981, a beautiful soul entered this world—Tiffany Jo Sledge. Born to Joseph Cosby and Audrey Hatchett, she was the youngest of five siblings, a joyful blessing to her family. She was lovingly welcomed home by her grandmother, Lois Ophelia Fisher, with whom she shared a special bond. Together, they spent countless hours crafting, scrapbooking, and creating treasured memories.
Tiffany attended Reitz High School, where she embraced life with her vibrant personality and formed lasting friendships. During this time, she welcomed her first daughter, Daiyauna Waddell. Later, she moved to Chicago, where she built a life filled with love and purpose. She was blessed with two more sons, Zion and Zaire, and being a mother became her greatest joy. Tiffany was a pillar of strength for her children, ensuring they grew up in a loving, close-knit family that cherished togetherness.
For over a decade, Tiffany shared a special bond with her significant other, Philip Crocker. She had an infectious spirit, always bringing warmth and love to those around her. Tiffany had a way of making everyone feel valued, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her.
On February 24, 2025, Tiffany transitioned from this life, leaving behind a legacy of love and resilience. She was preceded in death by her mother, Audrey Hatchett.
Her memory will forever be cherished by her beloved children, Daiyauna Waddell (Roland Daniel), Zion, and Zaire; her precious granddaughters, Rhy'Lee and Rhy'Lyn; her significant other, Philip Crocker; her siblings, Aisha Givens, Detrea Hatchett, Raini Hatchett, Brian Quarels, and Temika Thomas; her loving aunt, Lucretia Cosby; her best friend, Nish; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and dear friends.
Tiffany’s presence brought joy and love to all who knew her. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit will forever remain in our hearts. May she rest in eternal peace.
