Terry Lynn Hagan affectionately known as “Terr”, age 57, was born May 6, 1959 in Henderson, Kentucky to George Haygan and Mary Alice “Dump” Turner Haygan Gilbert. He departed this life for an eternal life on April 18, 2017 at Methodist Hospital. Terry gave his life to Christ at an early age at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. He later joined his wife, Pam Hagan, at Mount Olivet Missionary Baptist Church, where he was a member and served as an usher.
He graduated from Henderson County High School where he was a member of the 1976 Football Team that went to the 4A State Championship and became runner-up. In October, 2016, the team was inducted into the Henderson County Sports Hall of Fame. After high school, Terry, graduated from Henderson Community College and obtained his Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance. Terry was employed at GAMCO Products for 35 years and more recently worked for Service Tool & Die.
Terry was a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He attended as many games as possible that were close by whether in Pittsburgh, Nashville, St. Louis, Cincinnati, or, Indianapolis. He also loved the Kentucky Wildcats basketball team and enjoyed watching them on television. He was a black belt in Karate and participated in many competitions. Another hobby for Terry was fishing, especially with his twin brother, Jerry, and the rest of the family.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 33 years: Pam Hagan; parents: George P. Haygan and Mary Alice “Dump” Turner Haygan Gilbert; son: Truan Michael Hagan.
Terry leaves to cherish a son: Tory Hagan; three sisters: Gerogia Robards (Rev. James), Nicole Black (James), Angie Floyd; 9 brothers: James Green, Jerry Hagan (Terri), Kenneth Haygan (Aundrea), Tracey Haygan (Cindy), Kacey Haygan (Elizabeth) all of Henderson, KY, David Haygan (Edna) of San Diego, CA, Jonathan Hagan (Annette) of Columbus, IN, Rev. Stacey Haygan (Nedra) of Owensboro, KY, Keith Haygan of Bowling Green, KY; grandson: Jeremih McDonald; aunts: Rosa Lee Jackson, Anna Clark; uncles: Virgil Turner (Debra), Dorsey Haygan (Frances) of Henderson, KY, Ben Turner of Evansville, IN; a host of step-siblings, in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
