Terrie Johnette Pike, 50, left us on Thursday, January 4, 2018 to enter her Heavenly Home. Terrie was born on March 8, 1967 to Sandra Levels-Rollins and Wallace Rollins Jr. She was preceded in death by her father, Wallace Rollins, Jr.; her grandparents Zella and Wallace Rollins, Sr. and Pearl and John Levels; brother, Benjamin Brown, Jr.; uncle, John Levels (Sonny), Jr.; niece, Cierra Rollins.
Terrie attended the Evansville Vanderburgh School system, graduating from Bosse High School. She loved to cook, especially for the soup kitchen at First Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church and the American Legion Post 354. She was a member and past president of the Ladies Auxiliary American Legion Post 354. Terrie managed her Day Care for many years. She was everyone’s “Auntie”.
She professed Christ and was baptized at an early age under the pastorship of the late Rev. Dr. F. P. Miller of First Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church and later united with the Little Valley Missionary Baptist Church under the pastorship of Rev. Matory Bailey.
Terrie’s memory will be cherished in the hearts of her mother, Sandra Brown (Kenneth Jackson); stepson, David Pike; fiancé, Arliss Fortune; sisters: Rosalind Rollins, Regina Berry; brothers: Wallace Rollins, Jr. (Jacquetta), Demetrius Brown, Benjamin Brown III, Kenneth Jackson, Jr. (Sheila) all of Evansville, Indiana, Marcia Brown of Madisonville, Kentucky; special sisters, Tina Smith-Staten and Twanna Wilson; nieces: LaSandra Cooper, Kanesha Pharm, Jamease Packer, Demia Brown; nephews: Charles Berry III, Nevaeh and Isaiah Rollins; great-nieces: Aalyiah and Damarion Adams; aunts, Toni Levels and Linda White.
Terrie had a host of God-children: D’Kevierra Cole, Or’lazja and Orieonna Robinson and Mari Yawna Tilford; loving family members, friends and the Little Valley and First Ebenezer Church Families.
