Tasjai Bone’t (Flagg) Toliver was born on December 6, 1988, to her mother, Teisha M. Flagg, in Evansville, IN. She passed over this life on October 2, 2021, at Piedmont Fayette Hospital in Atlanta, Ga.
Tasjai was married to Warren Eugene Toliver on June 16, 2012. To this union, three handsome sons were born: TreVyon, TreStyn, and Diamoni.
She was baptized at Memorial Baptist Church on March 31, 2002, where she attended Sunday School, Youth Night and sang in the Youth Choir.
Tasjai graduated from Harrison High School in 2007. She was a member of the DIAMONDS Program at the YMCA under the leadership of Karen Ragland and Tracey Williams. She was also a part of the radio show “Keeping it Real” with Rev. Harlan Taylor on Sunday evenings with her peers.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandmothers: Georgia Mae Emery and Roberta (Hampton) Flagg; great grandfather: Gideon Flagg; Godparents: James (Jim) and Barbie Byars; great aunt: Marie Hople; and great uncle: Charles Hople.
In addition to husband and three sons, Tasjai leaves to cherish her memory; Mother, Teisha (Demetrick) Flagg-Baker; Mother-in-Law: Regina Collier; Grandmother: Mary Thomas; Grandfather: Rev. Joseph (Janet) Flagg; Aunts: Tamiko (Brian) Darden, Tyra (Cha) Johnson; sisters: Takarta Flagg, Taknejah Phillips, Abria (Jamel) Bennett; brother: Xavaier Phillips; two great aunts: Gay LaVern Emery and Mary Griffin; four nephews: Jeremiah Lamar Walcott, Marquese Hillman, Deadrean Baker, Jamel Bennett, Jr.; niece: Ta’Nyia Bennett; a host of cousins who loved her dearly; two best friends: Shamekka Satcher and Stacia Hazelwood.
