Tamura Michelle Jones was born September 16, 1961, to the late Betty Morrow and Robert Combs Jr. in Madisonville, Kentucky.
Tamura was a graduate of Madisonville North Hopkins High School. After graduation, she worked in the medical field for over 35 years.
She accepted the call to the ministry 20 years ago and was a faithful member of Disciples of Christ. She served as a dedicated member of the Praise and Treasury Team as well as a Sunday School teacher.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents: Elizabeth Hunt and Frank Hendricks of Earlington, and Robert and Stella Combs of Madisonville; brother: Christopher Hunt of Owensboro; aunt: Linda McNary of Louisville; and a cousin Stephanie Stewart of Louisville.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband: Nathaniel Jones; sons: Terence (Shareese) Leonard, and Aaron Leonard both of Madisonville; grandchildren: Myah and Terence, Jr. of Madisonville, and Jalaya and Aaron, Jr. of Evansville, IN; sister: Starlin (Gary) Willis of Alvaton, KY; brothers: Kevin (Christy) Combs of Madisonville, KY, Keith Combs of Louisville, KY, Kenneth Boyd of Nashville, TN, Kerry Jefferson of Madisonville, KY; aunts: Maxine Hunt, Karla Washington and Betty Drake of Madisonville, KY; uncle: James Hunt of Madisonville and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
