Shirley Lee Esters Chisler

March 16, 1946 — September 14, 2020

Shirley Lee Esters Chisler age 74, went to be with the Lord on September 14, 2020. She was born March 16, 1946 to the late Rev. Jesse James Esters and Rosie Lee Hill Esters.
Shirley knew Christ at an early age at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. Later in life, she attended First Missionary Baptist Church under the tutelage of her brother Rev. Robert Esters.
Shirley graduated from Central High School in 1964. She then worked in many doctor’s offices, for Clark security, as well as in the daycare arena until she was physically unable.
Shirley gave her life to her family, often being the “keeper” of everyone. She was the daycare provider, cleaner, peacemaker and surrogate to many. She was the epitome of selflessness and giving.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Mildred Perry, and brothers Jesse Esters, & James Esters, whom she adored.
Shirley leaves behind to cherish her memory, her sister-in-love Garnetta Esters and her brother Rev. Robert (Tressie) Esters. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces & great nephews, cousins, and friends.
