Shirie Lee Warren

Shirie Lee Warren, 61, born to Jackie and Ora Warren in Andalusia, Alabama passed away peacefully on February 9, 2023.
Shirie treasured her children, family, and friends and she embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as “Grandma”. She enjoyed sewing and gardening, as well as keeping herself well-maintained. She will be missed and will forever be in our hearts.
Shire is preceded in death by her parents; her son: Cornelius Benson; and sisters: Anna Doris Shealey and Janice McClain.
Shirie leaves to cherish her memory daughters: Misty Landrum-Goodwin and Taneisia Benson; grandchildren: Shaniqua Benson, Te’Asia Benson, Jaykavious Benson, Zamora Benson, Ryan Goodwin, Deontrell Goodwin, and Jamariye Flowers; and sisters: Peggy Copeland, Shellie Warren, Mary Ann Warren, and Majorette Warren.


If roses grow in Heaven,
Lord please pick a bunch for me.
Place them in her arms
And tell her they are from me.
Tell her I love her
And miss her deeply
And when she turns to smile,
Place a kiss upon her cheek
And hold her for a while for me
Because remembering her is easy,
I do it every day.
But there’s an ache within my heart
