Sheshalia D. Parks

Sheshalia D. Parks, 67, passed May 29, 2020 at Baptist Health Hospital. She was born to the late Mary K. Smith on April 21, 1953 in Madisonville, KY. She was a long time member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. Sheshalia attended Madisonville High School and went on to obtain her GED. She later obtained her Nursing Degree in Tampa, Florida. She worked for many years in the security industry for such companies as Securitas, Allied Barton, and Guardsmark but her greatest career accomplishment was as a entrepreneur. At one time, she owned Mendota Warehouse Sales, which sold jewelry and material. There were 3 locations; 2 in Illinois and one in Wisconsin. Sheshalia was an avid seamstress and enjoyed fishing, gardening and cooking large meals for her family.

Sheshalia leaves to cherish her memory, her son Calvin Keith Fletcher; 2
daughters: Mecheal Jansen Davidson and Bonnie Lynn Breen; 16 grandchildren; 1 brother: Adolphus Smith; 3 nieces; 1 nephew; and a host of other relations and friends.

Services are 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at Mason & Sons Funeral Home with visitation from 4:00 p.m. until service. Leave condolences at
