Sherry Lynn Ferguson

Sherry Lynn Ferguson was born September 29, 1961, in Evansville, IN to Thomas Ferguson, Sr. and Gloria Ferguson. She attended Grace Lutheran Church and ran track in high school. Sherry lived most of her life in Dever, CO with the love of her life Willie “Hines” Lay and close family friends the Cheaney’s. Sherry was loved by many friends and family who accepted the life she lived. She enjoyed caring for children always making sure they were well fed. We will remember Sherry as a good-hearted person who you could share a laugh with. She leaves us with the memory of her 2 special sayings that would make you laugh: ”See My Face” and “Sugga”. She was a loving mother and grandmother who loved her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father: Thomas Ferguson, Sr., grandmother: Marie Landers, and niece: Ericka Smallings.

Sherry leaves to cherish fond and loving memories, her daughter: Atoyra King; grandchildren: Tory’on White, Terriah Miles; mother: Gloria Ferguson of Evansville; siblings: Cassondra Smallings, Deborah Winstead, Shirley Ferguson, Thomas Ferguson all of Evansville, Tamela Ferguson, Zakeia Ferguson, Anthony Ferguson, Trent Ferguson all of Southbend, IN, Pam Ferguson of Chicago, IL.
