Shanae La'Shaun Edmonds

Shanae La’ Shaun Edmonds got her wings on August 9, 2024, at Ascension St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN. Shanae was born June 8, 1973, in Evansville, IN to Anna Jones Gray and John Robinson. Shanae graduated from Bosse High School and later became a Certified Nursing Assistant. She worked as a caregiver most of her adult life, taking pride in lovingly caring for her patients.

Shanae loved spending time with her children and especially with her grandchildren who adored her and called her Nani. Shanae would do anything for her children and grandchildren. She was a very forgiving and understanding person whose wonderful personality could light up any room. She enjoyed dancing and having a great time.

Shanae was preceded in death by her husband, Alex Winters; youngest son, Shaund'ae Winters; stepdad, Bill Gray; grandparents, A.C. Jones, and Ruby Miles Lester.

Shanae is survived by children, Shaunterion Smith, LaShanna Jackson, Sharnece Winters, Shanaya Winters, and Shaundre Edmonds; grandchildren, My’Lynn, Ma' Rilynn, A’mari, Mar’khilyn, Averionna; mother, Anna R. Gray; father, John Robinson; brother, Larry A. Jones; many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
