Shaina J. Carter

August 1, 1983 — January 21, 2016

Shaina J. Carter was the first child of two children born to Elder Earl Floyd and Sister Cynthia Floyd of Evansville, IN. At the age of 32, she passed away to her eternal home on January 21, 2016.

Shaina fell in love with Jesus at an early age and was baptized at the tender age of seven. She received the gift of the Holy Ghost in 1994 under the Pastoral Leadership of Bishop G. W. Frazier.

Shaina attended Evansville Christian School and graduated from Bosse High School in 2001. She attended Regis Beauty College and Ivy Tech College.

She met Dwan Carter in 2001 and they married on December 14, 2002. She was the mother of four young boys: Davon age 12, DaShaun age 9, Dwan, Jr. age 8, and Dreylin, age 6. She was a very devoted wife and mother and committed her life to her family and her job.

Shaina was committed to helping others. She worked in a number of day cares and was employed working in an adult group home.

Shaina was deeply loved and will greatly be missed.

She leaves to celebrate her life and legacy, her husband, Dwan Carter; four children: Davon, DaShaun, Dwan, Jr., and Dreylin; one brother, Maurice Floyd; her mother, Cynthia Floyd; and her father, Elder Earl Floyd.
