Sandra Marie Shauntee

Sandra Marie Shauntee went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 13, 2015 at
St. Mary’s Medical Center. She was born to the late Mary Catherine Lewis
Shauntee and James Roy Shauntee of Owensboro, Kentucky.
Sandra graduated from Owensboro High School. She also graduated from Kentucky
State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Home Economics.
She was a member of Zion Missionary Baptist Church. Sandra also had a passion
for helping others; she was employed at the YWCA as Y-Team Director, at the
Human Relations Commission, and at C.A.P.E. (Community Action Program of
Evansville).
Sandra was an excellent bowler. She participated in several leagues over the
years. In addition, she was a loyal and dedicated lifetime member of the Ladies’
Auxiliary Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 2953.
She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Byron K. Robinson (Marilyn) of
Groveport, OH; three granddaughters: Cierra Shauntee Robinson of Evansville IN,
Shakyra Kimbly Wilcox of Minnesota, and Jaida Nikole Robinson of Evansville IN;
a step-daughter, Carla Fellows-Ogburn (Ramon) of Indianapolis IN; a step-son,
Carlos Fellows of Evansville IN; and a host of step-grandchildren, other family
and friends.
