Rosie Nell Bard

Rosie Nell Bard, 63, of Madisonville, KY, passed away at Deaconess Hospital on Tuesday March 1, 2016. She was born in Hopkins County, KY on May 16, 1952 to the late James and Dorothy Bowman. She was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by 1 sister, Kimberly Bowman and 2 brothers, Ronald Bowman and Daryl Bowman.

Rosie is survived by her four children; 3 sons: Rodney (Melissa) Blanton of Madisonville, William (Stephanie) Blanton of Hopkinsville, and Jason Blanton of Madisonville; 1 daughter: Kelly (Reginald) Edwards of Clarksville, TN; 4 sisters: Delma Cottoner, Sheila Tandy, Cynthia Bowman, Susan Forrow; 5 brothers: James Bowman, Lawrence Bowman, Jeryl Bowman, Archie Bowman, and Gregory Bowman; 11 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 3 pm at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Madisonville, KY with Rev. Robert Cottoner officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to service time. Mason & Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be left at www.masonbrothersfs.com .
