Rose Anna Bryant Fletcher

Rose Anna Rice Bryant Fletcher was born on September 18, 1954, in Providence, Ky to Melrose Stoner McNary and Ernest “Jack” Rice. Rose Anna went into eternal rest on Thursday, August 25, 2022, at the age of 67.

In her youth, she moved to Evansville and attended Lincoln Elementary, Wheeler Elementary, and Central High Schools. She was a member of Cleaves Memorial CME Church and later joined Eastview Baptist Church serving on the Mother’s Board.

Anna, as she was affectionately called, loved her family and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was an excellent cook and loved dancing, listening to Blues music, and having fun. She enjoyed working as a cocktail waitress at Arc Bowling Lanes. Anna was loved and admired by many people.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents: Melrose McNary and Ernest “Jack” Rice; son: Eric; grandson: Eric, Jr; stepfather: Amos McNary; brothers: Chico and Dejuan McNary; sisters: Mary Potts and LaTonya McNary; 2 husbands: John Wesley Bryant and Bryant Foreman, Sr.

Her memories will be cherished by her husband: Paul Fletcher; daughter: Patrice Cabell; sons: Stacey Cabell and Bryant Foreman; stepchildren: Lisa, Danny, and Shyria Bryant; sister: Donna Smith; brothers: Rick and Donnell McNary and Jason Rice; and a host of grandchildren, great children, nieces, and nephews, including the Mason Heritage.
