On February 15, 1958, Ronald LaRue Seales was born to the late Clyde Bethea and Emmett Seales in Warthen, GA. He went home to be with the Lord on March 28, 2020 at the age of 62. Ronald moved from Georgia with his sisters to Morganfield, KY where he lived for many years. Early in his career, he worked for Movac and later became employed at Peabody Coal Camp 11 from which he retired after more than 20 years.
His favorite hobbies were playing pool and dominoes with his friends who commonly referred to him as “Seabo”. He had a host of family and friends and never met a stranger. After living in Kentucky for several years, Ron moved to Evansville to be closer to his daughter, son, and grandchildren. He joined Liberty Baptist Church where he loved bringing others to worship service with him on Sundays.
In addition to his parents, Ron is preceded in death by his brothers: Joseph “Gene” Seales, Charles Emmett Seales, George Thomas Seales, Johnny Neal Seales. Ronald leaves to cherish his memory, his children: Ava Wilson Jones, LeRon Seales, Ronald Seales, Jr., Cyril Wilson; sisters: Helen Maria Seales, Diane Renee Seales; grandchildren: T’Adra Wilson, Taliya Walker, Na’Kiya Coleman, Emoni Tapp, Tre’Shawn Mann; 1 great grandchild: Isla Holland; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and special friends.
