Roger Lynch, Jr., born May 24, 1952, was born to the late Roger Lynch Sr. and Elizabeth Farris Lynch, and he passed away on January 10th, 2024.  He graduated from Bosse High School.  After High School, he joined the United States Army, where is served during the Vietnam War.  After he completed his military tour, he returned to Evansville and worked for many different industries, including Alcoa, Evansville Fire Department, and the University of Evansville. He retired from Preferred Environmental, where he did asbestos removal. Roger enjoyed good music, especially Earth Wind and Fire, Colts Football, and spending time with his family. He was an avid chess player and was known for his sense of humor. 

In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ann Lynch, and long-time companion Beverly Diane Livers, brothers-in-law Ed Meriwether, Jesse Meriwether, Ernest Meriwether, and his sister-in-law Quince Hurst.

 He is survived by his sons, Quan Lynch of Evansville and Andre Meriwether, Sr. of Henderson, KY; daughters, DeShanta Livers of Indianapolis and Tangela Pegue of Evansville; a brother, Pierre Lynch of Evansville and a sister; sisters-in-law, Alice “Cheryl” Livers of Indianapolis, Kimberly Livers Cobb and Sherrie Livers LaGrone of Evansville, Crystal Livers of Brownsburg, IN, and five grandchildren, Anyea Livers of Hawaii, Anissa Lynch of Evansville, Raw’Nesha McNary of Evansville, and Andre Meriwether, Jr of Evansville: a host of longtime friends and several nieces and nephews.
