Robert "June" Reynolds Jr.

Mr. Robert (June) Reynolds, Jr., age 82, of Madisonville, KY passed away in the loving arms of God on Sunday, January 22, 2017. He was born October 20, 1934 in Madisonville, KY. He was the son of the late Robert and Cora Lee Reynolds.
Mr. Reynolds was affectionately called June Reynolds. He had a quiet and meek spirit. He retired from the Peabody Coal Company after working for 30 years. His hobbies included fishing, camping, doing maintenance work, and spending time with his dog Rocko.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his sisters: Susie Lee Goodrich, Ethel B. Ray, Rose Marie Yates, Doris Reynolds, Marie Reynolds, Earnestine Williams, and Gernice Robinson. Mr. Reynolds leaves to cherish his memories: his loving companion Verna McElroy; sons: Travis Reynolds, Alvin Slaton, D.D. Reynolds all of Madisonville, KY, Rodney Martin (Angie) of Augusta, GA; daughters: Cynthia Hamilton, Goree Smalls both of Madisonville, KY; 12 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 2 special great grandsons: Kaden and Jaylenn Martin who were his “little caregivers”; Leslie Hunt; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
