Robert Chambers

Robert Mitchell Chambers was born on August 31, 1959 to the late Sharon Chambers and the late James Johnson. He transitioned from earth to eternal life at Deaconess Hospital in Henderson, KY.
Robert was married to Beverly Chambers. He accepted Christ at an early age at Greater Norris Chapel Baptist Church. He worked 31 years and retired from the Henderson Sanitation Department. He loved his family and loved to cut grass. Robert was a wonderful husband, father, and brother. He had a passion for helping anyone in need and he never met a stranger.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories his wife of 21 years: Beverly Chambers; three sons: Tre, James, and John Chambers; stepchildren: Erica (Keith), Yvonne Hancock (Bill), Yvonne Day (Jerome), Kim Green (Brent); six grandchildren; one great-grandchild: Maverick Luckett; siblings: Timothy (Reachell), Wendy, Karen, Dawn, and Marvin Chambers, and Ladonna Johnson; niece: Tiana; nephew: Colby Chambers; two uncles: Jerry (Ann) Cabell, William “Chet” Chambers; mother-in-law: Pauline Dixon; and a host of family, friends, and Greater Norris Chapel Baptist Church. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
