Regina Rankin

Regina Rankin passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. She was born May 4, 1963 to Roy Rankin II and Helen Byrd.

Regina graduated and played basketball for Reitz High School Class of 1981. Regina gave her life to Christ at an early age at Zion Missionary Baptist Church.

Regina was a homemaker. She took care of family and friends alike. Gina left an everlasting impression on everyone who knew her. She was strong-minded and loving.

She was preceded in death by her father; brothers, Geno and Desi Rankin; sisters, Denise and Renea Rankin.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her companion, Dan Miller; her mother, Helen Byrd; daughters: Reyna Lewis and Ca’Loni Rankin; sisters: Belinda Lander, Natalie Parrish, Lanita Rankin, Tracena Rankin, Debra Roach-Rankin, Megan Rankin, Bridgett Rankin, and Raylene Rankin; brothers: Michale Rankin, Roy Rankin III, Dwayne Rankin, Fletcher Byrd; eleven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several uncles and aunts; several nieces and nephews; and many, many cousins.

Services are Friday, March 23, 2018 at 11:00am at Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 1800 S. Governor, with visitation from 9:00am until service time. Burial at Oak Hill Cemetery. Condolences may be left at www.masonbrothersfs.com
