Regina Rae Moss

Regina Rae Moss, 58, of Mayfield, KY, entered rest on Wednesday, June 5^th, 2024. She was born October 2, 1965 to Mable Moss Brooks and the late James Herbert Carman.

Regina graduated from Mayfield High School in 1983. After high school, she attended and graduated from Draughon’s Business College. She was employed at the Kentucky State Police Post 1 until her health failed.

She is preceded in death by her stepfather, Ernest Brooks; her brother, Anthony Moss; her grandparents, Homer and Codel Thomas, Betty Concentine, and Toy Lee Brooks; her grandfather, L. V. Moss; her aunts, Louise Moss, Shirley Edwards, and Racine Owens; and her uncles, Louis Moss, Charles Moss, and L. V. Love.

Regina leaves behind to cherish her memories her mother, Mable Brooks of Mayfield, KY; six brothers – Howard Moss of Mayfield, KY; Dennis Moss of Powder Springs, GA; Marcus Moss of Mayfield, KY; Michael Moss of Texas; Shannon Brooks of San Antonio, TX; and Steven Brooks of Mayfield, KY. Two sisters – Rhonda Leavell of Paducah, KY and Rita Moss of Mayfield, KY; Three adopted sisters – Justice Brooks of Indianapolis, IN; Antonaysia Brooks and Desire Brooks of Mayfield, KY; Foster siblings – Anicia Ramos, Christopher Moore, Tarhonda Lee, and Jasmine Sanders; One uncle – Robert Dumas, Sr. of Mayfield, KY and three aunties – Ethelene Moss and Emmie Provine Sherrill of Mayfield, KY; Shirley Fisk of Nashville, TN and a host of close nephews, nieces, cousins, family, and friends.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, June 10th, 2024, at Second Christian Church, 512 East Water Street, Mayfield, KY.
