Phyllis Lachelle Smith

Phyllis Lachelle Brown-Smith, of Atlanta, Ga, formerly of Sturgis and Henderson, KY, went to be with the Lord on August 18, 2021.
She confessed a belief in the Lord at an early age at 7th Street Missionary Baptist Church. Phyllis was a 1990 graduate of Union County High School. She moved to Atlanta in the late 90s and became a well-known cosmetologist there and the surrounding areas.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Gilbert, grandparents, and a niece.
She leaves to cherish her memory (3) three children: Kyla, Kyle, and Kyree; her father: Anthony “Tony Brown”; stepfather: Phillip “Huck-a-Buck” Gilbert; Aunt that was like a mother, Gloria B. Marshall; Aunt Sherry (Tony) Bell; sisters: Amy Smith, Ashley "Nikki" Burlison; brothers: Troy (Ingrid) Smith, Darrell Brown, Marcus Burlison, and Kevin ‘Ke” Burlison a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends like family. Special longtime companion Michael “Red” Miller.
Homecoming services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday August 28th at Mason Brothers Audubon Chapel in Henderson. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until service hour. Leave condolences at www.masonbrothersfscom .
