In addition to her parents Percy was preceded in death by two sons Ezzard and Edward Cooper, 8 brothers, 5 sisters and 5 grandsons.
Percy was loved by all and will be sorely missed. She was an avid quilter and loved to make them to give to her children and grandchildren. Even after her children bought her a sewing machine, she continued to make them by hand. Her second love was growing her garden of collard greens, cabbage, tomatoes and squash. What she didn’t can to put up for the winter, she would give away to her neighbors and friends. Percy loved having her family and friends around her as much as possible. She knew that if she prepared one of her feasts, that they would come a running!
She was a faithful and active member of The Line Street Church of Christ for over fifty years
where she was a member of the Keenagers Club and attended bible study. She truly loved God and her favorite song was “Precious Lord, Take My Hand”.
