Peggy Sherrell Jones

Peggy Sherrell Jones 60, of Madisonville, Ky went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at Baptist Health in Madisonville, Ky.

Peggy graduated from North Hopkins High School and afterwards, she attended Murray State University. Peggy work at Brown’s rest home. She was later employed as a general laborer in a factory.

Peggy went to Branch Street Church of God in Christ. She loved listening to music and trying to dance. Her favorite music was ol’ school and gospel music. Peggy loved to cook and be around her family and friends. She especially loved being around her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother: Daisy Evans; her dad: Charles Fairrow; sister: Roise Young (Edward Young); and brother: Marion Jones.

She leaves to cherish her beautiful daughters: Shanneca Ikeard (Terrence Cruite) and LaShonda Ikeard; brothers: Larry Jones, Calvin Ikeard; grandchildren: Ny’Kea Ikeard, Ny’Asia Doss, Ny’Eem Peyton, Ny’Ian Peyton, Amiyah Ikeard; loving nephew: Lavonte Drone and children; loving aunt: Mary Gant; her best friend Denise Brown; and a host of nieces and nephews and friends and family. Peggy will truly be missed.
