Patricia Sue “Sue Bee” Langley, of Henderson, Kentucky was born on March 28, 1952, and transitioned on September 23, 2021, in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.
She is preceded in death by her parents Arvena Langley, Mamon Langley, Jr. and Elmer Roger Boone; sisters Juanita Langley, Ann Craig, Mary Boyd, Virginia Langley, and Dorothy Wade; brothers Edward, David, and John Langley. She is survived by her son, William “Billy” Langley of Tallahassee, Florida; sister Clara McClure of Newburgh, Indiana; aunts Gladys, Shirley, and Sheila Langley; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Patricia attended Henderson Community College where she studied Social Work. She loved to spend time with family and friends, cook, and walk. She was known for making chess pies and banana pudding. One of her favorite foods to eat was smoked turkey. She was a very giving, free-hearted person who was very loving, caring, smart, funny, straightforward, strong-willed, and an absolute joy to be around. Her smile and contagious laughter could lighten up any room. Anyone who was in her presence knew her love of the Lord. She was a member of Love Temple Church of God in Christ.
For everything she has experienced in this human life, she has TRULY EARNED her transition to the next level of life. Her spirit has not and will never die, therefore she is ALWAYS with us.
