Nyrita Parker

Nyrita Maria Williams Parker, 68, of Morganfield, Kentucky, went home to be with the Lord on September 12, 2023, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Evansville, Indiana, with her family by her side. She accepted Christ at an early age. Nyrita was born to Gertrude Thomas Williams and Amos Williams on April 28, 1955, In Danville, IL. Additionally, to this union, three brothers were born.

After relocating to Morganfield, Nyrita became a Carr’s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church member. Nyrita loved cooking and preparing meals for her family, she was also an avid gardener who loved watching movies and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents and grandparents, Nyrita is preceded in death by her brother, Aaron Williams; and two aunts and one uncle.

She is survived by her husband, Lawrence Parker; daughters, Diamond Parker of Morganfield and Jhamala Thomas of Danville, IL; sons: Lawrence (Charisse) McGuire of Morganfield, and Czaja McGuire of Danville, IL; brothers: Gary (Joyce) Williams of Danville, IL, Terry Williams of Discovery Bay, CA; aunt: Lorraine Perry, Gary, IN; uncle: Frank (Linda) Williams of Danville, IL; grandchildren: Marki, Tavares, and Skylin of Morganfield, KY; and a host of grandchildren, great-children, nieces, nephews, cousins, sister in laws, brother in laws and many friends.
