Nathaniel Gill

On January 1, 1952, Nathaniel Gill was born to the late Mille E. Gill and Otha Gill in Mound Bayou, Mississippi. He grew up in Gary, In and moved to Evansville, IN in 1999. He passed away on December 3, 2015 at Deaconess Hospital from a car accident.

Nate was a member of several religious singing groups, singing and playing the guitar in Gary and Evansville for over 30 years. He worked for Ameriqual Foods Packaging for over 15 years through Custom Staffing and Global Temporary Services. He also was a TV and computer repairman.

Nate always had a friendly smile and was willing to help anyone.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and three brothers.

Nate leaves to cherish his memory, seven sisters: Corine Dodd, Ollie M. Gill, Minnie Mann, Ruth and Mabel Dunbar, Linda (William) Clark-all of Evansville and Barbara Spears of Gary; three brothers: Douglas (Sheila) Dunbar, Jeffrey (Darlene) Dunbar-both of Evansville and Charles (Shirley) Dunbar of Knoxville, TN; one aunt,: Corine Thomas of Gary and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
