Morris Richard Bronaugh, Jr., affectionately known as “Dickie,” was born to Richard and Rosie Lee Bronaugh on April 8, 1947 in Evansville, Indiana. Richard graduated from North High School in May 1965.
After high school, he served six years in the United States Army. Shortly thereafter, he began his career as a truck driver for Flexsteel.
Richard married Pearl Wheeler on October 25, 1980. They merged their two families and together raised four children: Toni, Cheryl, Mark, and Timothy.
His parents, Richard Sr. and Rosie Lee, as well as his younger brother, Robert Bronough, all preceded him in death.
Richard leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Pearl Bronaugh; his children: Toni, Cheryl, Timothy, and Mark; 18 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; his uncle and aunt, Eugene and Marian; his special friend, Albert “Bibbie” Madison; and a host of other wonderful friends.
Services will be held Friday, September 23, 2016 at 11:00am at Mason Brothers Memorial Chapel, 1001 Lincoln Avenue, Evansville IN. Visitation from 10:00 am until service time at the funeral home. Condolences may be left at
