Minnie Ola Head

Minnie Ola Head was born on October 22, 1943, in Henderson, Kentucky, to the late Ben Otis Bushrod and Willie Mae Bushrod.  Minnie passed away peacefully on May 29, 2024, at Norton’s Hosparus Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.

Minnie retired from Community Methodist Hospital, where she worked in the dietary department for many years. She enjoyed singing and going for long walks.  She was a longtime faithful New Jerusalem Baptist Church member in Henderson, Kentucky.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.  

Minnie leaves to cherish her memory one brother, Lee Allen (Marie) Bushrod, of Hayward, California; her caregiver and niece, Rachel (Earl) Boone, of Louisville, Kentucky; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
