Mary Alicia Mae Woodard was born to Booker T. Borroum and Georgia Bacon on February 2nd, 1947 in Evansville, IN. She was adopted by her grandparents James and Mary Grissett. She went home peacefully to be with the Lord, August 7th, 2017 with her family by her side. She opened her heart and home to anyone who needed help or shelter and she never met a stranger. She was a member of the Voices of Hope Choir and the Evansville Chapter of the GMWA. She attended Harwood Elementary School and graduated from the old Central High School in 1965. She married her childhood sweetheart Kenneth Woodard, from which daughters Katherine Woodard and Autumn Pauley were born. She did clerical work at several local businesses including the UMWA and Bucyrus-Erie. She also worked for the EVSC as an administrative assistant for 20+ years. She retired due to her health.
