Mary Anne Williams

Mary Anne Williams, 76, of Madisonville, Ky passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at her home. She was born on March 5, 1945 in Madisonville to the late James Wesley and Verna Mae Kimbrew.

Mary graduated from Rosenwald High School in 1964. She enjoyed cleaning and spent her career in housekeeping where she retired from Multi Care. Mary was strong in her faith and was very active at New Life Sanctuary. She was loving and devoted to her family and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. Mary never missed a family gathering and adored telling stories of her life experiences. She was outgoing, joyful and never met a stranger.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 29 years, Robert Lee Williams, and sister, Esther Kimbrew.

She is survived by her sons: Troy Kimbrew and Keith Williams (Brittany); Daughter-in-love: Brenda Sharp (Donnie); step children: Evelyn Shields (James), Darryl Williams (Mary), Alice Moore, Robert Williams, Jr., and Charles Williams (Shirley); siblings: Joe Burris, Hester Kimbrew, and Mattie Kimbrew; 27 grandchildren; 58 great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Oak Grove Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Butch Cottoner. A viewing will be held from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday at the church. Burial will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery.
