Mary G Smith Herrington

Mary G. Clark Smith Herrington was born on January 9, 1944, to the late Mable Clark and Henry Missouri, in Sumter, SC. When Mary was two years old, she went to live in Baltimore, MD with her aunt until adulthood. At 16 years old, Mary was married to McClellan Smith, Sr. To this union, 4 children were born. Before moving to Evansville in 1998, she resided in several different states. During her lifetime, Mary owned several businesses including a restaurant and an antique store. While in Maryland, Mary was a licensed real estate salesperson. Being an avid animal lover, Mary owned cats and dogs her entire life. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her children: Eleana Smith, McClellan Smith, Jr., and Solomon Smith. Mary is survived by her daughter: Mable Smith; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
