Mary Frances Nunn

Mary Frances Nunn, age 81, went home to be with the Lord on June 18, 2015 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville, Indiana.

Mary Frances was born on January 22, 1934 in Lebanon, Tennessee to the late Maggie Clark and William Young.

She lived in Chicago for 40 years and returned to Evansville, Indiana in 1998 to care for her mother, Mother Maggie Bronaugh. She joined Greater St. James where the late Rev. Douglas Smith was pastor. Sister Nunn was a faithful member and served as president of the Senior Choir. Her favorite scripture was John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Mary Frances had a great love for children and was employed as a Foster Grandparent for 14 years at the Carver Children’s Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband of 11 years, Claude Nunn.
She leaves to cherish her memory a son, Anthony Clark (Brenda) of Evansville, Indiana and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
