Marlane Lynette Baxton 66 of Evansville, Indiana, born February 5, 1956, to the late Harrison ``Toots" and Helen Baxton, departed this life on October 27, 2022, at 7:02 am. She attended William Henry Harrison High School.

Marlane always expressed the love she had for her family and friends with her contagious smile. She enjoyed entertaining everyone by singing with her beautiful voice while uplifting everyone around her. She had a great passion for cooking and was most known for her secret “dressing recipe”.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Tony and Claude; and a sister: Harriet "Tears".

Marlane is survived by sons: Michael King and Antwan Watson Sr.; daughter: Michelle (Greg) Duncan; brothers: Vernon (Mary) Baxton of Georgia and Wayne (Jackie) Crowe of Indianapolis, Indiana; sisters: Deborah Gordon of Evansville, Catherine Baxton-Orr of Texas, and Tara Johnson of Knoxville Tennessee; 10 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A mask is required for both services.
