Mariah Desiree Strother went to be with the Lord on May 30, 2020 at 3:57 a.m. She was born in Henderson, Ky to Kareem Strother and the late Bobbi Renee Davis. She was educated in the Henderson School System and the Evansville Vanderburgh Co. School System. She attained her GED after attending high school.
Mariah enjoyed spending time with her family and loved her parents and sisters very much. She also loved to spend time with both of her grandmothers. Mariah had many friends and was known to them as being very trustworthy and caring and a friend they could call on.
Keeping up with friends and family on social media was her favorite pastime. She just recently took an interest in cooking, preparing a few meals for family. At the time of her passing, Mariah was employed at Tropicana Casino as a waitress.
Mariah will be dearly missed by all who knew her. When you encountered her, she would brighten your day with her character and personality. Her young life is a life gone too soon.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her father: Kareem Strother; sisters: Mikayla Strother, Maliyah Strother, Maya Strother; grandparents: Vicki & Kevin Giles, Diane & Ed Smith ; and a host of cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
Graveside services are 11:00 a.m. Monday June 15, 2020 at Oak Hill Cemetery with visitation on Sunday June 14, 2020 from 4-8 p.m. at R. Mason Brothers Memorial Chapel. A mask is required to attend all services and social distancing will be observed.
