Marguerite Louise Lander Porter, born in Evansville, Indiana on February 2, 1936 to Douglas Lander, Sr., and Lillian Tandy Lander passed away on October 8, 2022.
Marguerite became a Christian at an early age. She moved to St. Louis, Missouri where she retired from the United States Postal Office of Personnel Management.
Marguerite was preceded in death by her brothers: Douglas Jr. and Theodore Landers.
She leaves to cherish her memory sisters: Eunice Garnett of Evansville, IN, Eleanor Rouse of Evansville, IN, sister-in-law: Betty Lander of St. Louis, Missouri; brother: George Lander of Dallas, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
