Margie Waddell

Margie Waddell, 70 of Evansville, IN was born July 18, 1951 in Hopkinsville, KY to the late Charlie Majors Sr. and Louise Turner. She departed this life on July 29, 2021 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital.
She was a member of Memorial Baptist Church where she looked forward to going to the early Sunday morning church service. Margie was well liked by many and enjoyed planting flowers. Some of her places of employment included Zenith, Bristol Myers, Welborn Hospital, and AmeriQual Packaging.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters: Mary Brewer and Corrine Majors; brother: Charlie Majors, Jr., son: Kimothy Waddell; and two grandchildren.
She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter: Vanessa LaRita Waddell; two sons: Harry “Tuffy” Waddell and Marlon “Rick” Waddell Sr; 11 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be Thursday, August 5, 2021, 11:00 a.m. at Memorial Baptist Church, 605 Canal St., Evansville, IN. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will be at Cave Springs Cemetery, Hopkinsville, KY.
