Malik Antonwine Stafford, age 13, was born October 9, 2005 to Keith Stafford and Tammy Williams Stafford. Malik was very active in sports and was a good athlete. He enjoyed playing any game or sport. He loved his family and always wanted family to be together. He was the life of the party at family gatherings. Malik sought after knowledge and everywhere the family moved, he sought after a church to attend, would ask questions about God, and was always interested in who God was.
Reflecting back, we look at the days he spent in Browning Springs where he played sports before relocating to Hopkinsville Middle School where he again played sports and was happy. He was striving to obtain good grades.
On November 23, 2018, he met the God that he longed to know and followed Him. Upon his arrival, he met his beloved grandmother, Romana L. Stafford, and his grandfather, William Shadrick, with a big smile on his face. We, here, are left with the memories to cherish that big bright smile with his parents, Keith and Tammy Stafford; his brother, Ra’Shawn Williams; his sisters, Kei’Asia Stafford and Dimanta Kimbrew; his grandmother, Vicki Shadrick; grandfather, Kent Allen Day; two uncles, Noah Williams and Kenneth Stafford; and a great host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
His life will be remembered on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 2:00pm at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church with viewing from 12:00pm until funeral time. Rev. Robert L. Cottoner, officiating. Burial at Eastside Odd Fellows Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mason & Sons Funeral Home. Condolences may be left at
