Mada L. Carney

Mada L. Carney, 68, of Madisonville, KY took God's hand at 3:30 A.M. Tuesday, February 4, 2025. Mada graduated from North Hopkins High School in 1974 and worked at Madisonville Regional Hospital until she retired in 1998 due to failing health.

Mada never met a stranger and was always willing to help others. Mada was a member of Eastview Missionary Baptist Church and worked in the Culinary Dept. of the church. This was her passion, and she could really cook. She also loved UK basketball. Mada had many friends, too many to name, and the Logan Family would like to thank you all for showing love to our sister. 

 Mada was preceded in death by her daughter, Hope A. Carney in 2005; father, William T. Logan, Sr. in 1983; mother, Doris L. Logan in 1999; brothers, William T. Logan, Jr., and James R. H. Logan, Sr. in 2010.

 Mada leaves behind to cherish her loving memories, her brother Edward S. (Brenda) Logan Sr. of Madisonville; one sister Evelyn (Glenn) Prather of Henderson; one granddaughter, Da-Keia Mosley of Madisonville; two sisters-in-law, Antionette Logan and Cozette Logan of Madisonville; a host of nephews, nieces and other family and friends.
