Mable Louise Tapp, 95, of Henderson, KY passed away May 23, 2016 into the loving arms of God while a resident of Red Banks Nursing Home. She was born March 12, 1921 to Herbert and Janie Garrett Yates in Henderson. As a member of Walnut Hill Baptist Church for many years, she sang in the Adult Choir. Mable was employed at Methodist Hospital as a Nursing Assistant for 20 years until her retirement.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Marvin Tapp, Sr.; her brothers Charles, Herbert, and Sammie Yates; and her son Kenneth Tapp.
She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter: Delores Soaper of Henderson; sons: James Tapp of Henderson and Marvin Tapp, Jr. (Anna Ruth) of Newburgh, IN; grandson: Derrick Soaper (Denise) of Henderson; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and friends.
Services are Tuesday May 31, 2016 at 12 Noon at Seventh St. Baptist Church with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Burial in Fernwood Cemetery. Mason Brothers Audubon Chapel is entrusted with arrangements. Leave Condolences at
