Luella G. Barnett, indeed an angel with wings. She professed her life in Christ at an early age. She loved the Lord and would always say, “ The Lord has been good to me.” The 90 years God blessed her to be on this earth, she loved and cared for everyone.
She worked for Johnson’s Key Market and St. Vincent DePaul Thrift Store. She loved to be outside in the heat, doing her yard work and working on her garden in her spare time. Luella enjoyed doing her housework and ensuring that her laundry was done well. You could often hear her singing gospel music. Even with all her significant losses, she never complained. She was indeed a blessing to all.
Luella has reunited with her loving husband: Rowland Barnett; daughter: Joyce Barnett, and her son: Robert Barnett.
She leaves to cherish her memories daughters: Geneva Avery, Catherine Johnson (George Wells, Jr.); grandchildren: Shea (Leady) Simms, Duana (David) Sanners, Tamika Barnett, Raymond (Shanee’) Barnett, Nia Johnson, Derek Barnett, and Erica Barnett; great-grandchildren: Spencer Johnson, Kyle Brown and Kyra Brown, Tanner Sims and Kennedy Sims, Kiley Johnson, Noah Barnett, and Carter McKinsky. We are also grateful for her family and friends throughout her years of life.
A mask is required for both services.
