Lori Ann Banks-McNary

Lori Ann Banks-McNary, 59, went home to be with the Lord on May 1, 2022. She was born on August 22, 1962 to the late Soney and Helen (Baker) Banks in Evansville, IN. She was a member of Cleaves Memorial CME Church.
Lori was the owner of the Okey Dokey Child Care which she started with her best friend, James Buckner in 2002. Lori, lovingly known as “Miss Lori”, had a great love for children that showed in the way she cared for them every day. She often went out of her way to make sure her children felt loved and taken care of.
Lori was a loving and giving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Soney and Helen Banks, nephew: Landen Miller, and sister-in-law: Donna Banks.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her sons: Michael (Sharri) McNary, Brandon McNary, and Sheldon (Simone) McNary; grandchildren: Ya’Zir, Sarai, Amaya, and Samara; siblings: Stacia (Roland) Thomas, Tanya (Darrell) Cook, Keith Banks; and a host of nieces and nephews.
