Livingston Leroy Baker was born July 14, 1937 in Mortons Gap, Ky to the late Alexander Baker, Sr. and Vandalia Rodman Baker. He passed away Sunday April 22, 2018 at 2:48 a.m. at Baptist Health Hospital in Madisonville, KY.
Livingston graduated from Rosenwald High School in 1957. He was an avid basketball player, always claiming the fact that he was the best, ever. He enjoyed horse racing and UK basketball. Livingston resided in Chicago, Ill from 1964 until 1989 when he retired from Mead Packaging Company where he was a printer.
In addition to his parents, Livingston was preceded in death by three sisters: Arnetta Hughes, Modestine Glenn and Vatral Slaughter; five brothers: Richard Baker, Arthur Baker, Theodis Baker, Arliss Baker and Alexander Baker, Jr.
He leaves to cherish his memory: five daughters: Lori Ann Wilson, Verietta Lynn Baker, Lisa Alane Baker, Vandalia Baker and Mildred Letiese Wilson; three sons: Alvis Wilson (Nanci), Livingston Cody, and William Baker; 13 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; one brother: Ishmal Baker (Beverly) of Madisonville; two sisters: Rothann Baker of Chicago, IL, Winola Mimms of Seattle, Washington; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family & friends.
