Lisa Alane Baker

Lisa Alane Baker departed this life on Monday December 3, 2018 at her home in Jeffersonville, IN. She was born August 13, 1964 in Madisonville, KY to Wanda Wilson and Livingston Baker. Lisa accepted Christ at an early age and joined Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. She graduated from West Hopkins High School in Nebo, KY. In her senior year, she received and athletic scholarship to Paducah Community College. Lisa later graduated from Madisonville Community College.

Lisa was the mother of two children: Adriel Ladon Baker and Jessica Monique Allensworth. Lisa was married to Phillip Allensworth and after moving to Clarksville, IN she was united in marriage to Anthony D. Gantt.

Until her health prohibited her from working, Lisa was employed at Tyson Foods as a Shift Supervisor. She retired after 15 years of service.

Lisa was an active member of Kingdom of God Tabernacle where she served as Associate Minister, Sunday School teacher, Educational Instructor at Wednesday Night Bible Study, and started a monthly all night Prayer Service. Occasionally, Lisa conducted Sunday Morning worship services.

She is preceded in death by her father Livingston Baker and her grandparents.

In addition to her children Adriel and Jessica, Lisa leaves to cherish loving memories, grand-daughters: RaNiya and Kailen; god-daughter: Marquita; four sisters: Latiese, Lori Ann, Rita, Vandelia; five brothers: Mark, Alvis, David, William, Livingston Jr.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
